Guyanese Creole languages/Dialects

There is a saying that the language reveals much about the country. It defines the culture, attitude and characteristic of the country people. Guyanafs official language is English. It is mostly used for government, education, media, commerce, and services. English language is taught in schools and is on British basics. Guyanese Creole is an English founded creole dialect that is spoken by the citizen. It is alike to the English tongue spoken in Caribbean region.Guyanese Creole has a number of sub-dialects which can be found in the urban-rural location. It is a language that is extremely flexible. This means that a new words can be formed, altered, created or evolve in a very short period of time.Guyanese dialects is diverse, where there are more nine tribal dialects which as follows; Akawaio, Arakawan, Arecunan, Cariban, Macushi, Patamona, Wai-wai dialect. Creolese is vastly spoken and understood by all the Guyanese and has based on the contribution of the English language.
